Stager/Designer
My passion for design showed up when I was a kid back in the 80’s. My Mom got a magazine subscription for “1001 Home Ideas” through Publishers Clearing House and I was hooked! I would immerse myself in those glossy, colorful pages which held images of beautiful, magical spaces–far beyond the dull military base housing where we lived.
My interest in real estate led to an early career as a Residential Real Estate Broker and then Property Management. But as the years went by I had an equal passion for travel and eventually decided to make a change. I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial Recreation & Tourism and went on to become a leisure travel agent with a local travel agency. This grew into a management career with AAA Travel.
Despite my success in the travel industry, my creative self yearned for more! For several years I staged and organized homes for a local estate sale company to exercise my design muscles and finally decided to make staging and redesign my full time focus! I most enjoy styling and staging vacation rental properties because it combines my tourism background with my eye for design. I still enjoy travel but experience has taught me that no matter where you go, there’s nothing like coming home. And I have to say–it feels great to be back!
As a child I would rearrange my bedroom on a near monthly basis and to my parents’ dismay, it wasn’t long before my need to decorate began encroaching on the rest of the house. By the time I was 14, I had designed my dream home–complete with furnishings! Eventually I realized this wasn’t normal–and that what I always took for granted was actually my true gift.
As the years have passed my love for all things “home” has only grown. As a Certified Home Stager and Redesigner, it brings me true joy to help homeowners realize the best return possible on their home investment–and to see people fall in love with their homes all over again! I would love the opportunity to not only improve your space, but take it beyond what you think is possible!
